Isn't it hillarious when...........

people try to fix something bad they've just said and make it worse. For instance, My english teacher, nice man, Mr Ventress, but he makes me read aloud and he know's i'm rubbish at it so he deserves this :p Here's how our lesson went today:

We were reading aMariana by Tennyson and we were in this verse -

'She only said, "My life is dreary,
He cometh not," she said;
She said, "I am aweary, aweary,
I would that I were dead!" '

When sir decided to elaborate, Here's where it goes to pot.

Sir "She disapointed because her lover won't come"
Class *giggles*
Sir "No she's disapointed because he can't arrive"
Class * More giggles*
Sir "Ok she's disapointed because there is no physical evidence that her lover will come"

and so on........ he also talked about the woman loosing her virginity a tree, calling scarlets boyfriend a tree and implying that he doesn't look at jessica and amy's hair when telling them apart, he infact looks else where. How i love lit these days! it's great :D
