A few things to blog about.........

Well, two things really; Driving with James and Canal Barges.

Driving with James was fun, He passed his test on Tuesday and he is a really good driver, I want to learn to drive now. We went to asda and put £5 of petrol in, and then head off up new church, over the Burnley moors (James managed to get his mums little blue car to 60mph!) and then towards Bacup, being followed by a police car rather nervously, and then back to school in time for break. It was fun!

Then I went to work, Joy of joys, and after the 2.5 hour rush of everyone wanting food, Mark told us about his friend who lived on a canal barge while going to uni, all on his own. This got me thinking 'hmmm why don't I live on a boat!?!?' Then I thought wait no! I've lived on my own for about ermmm 4 days at the most, and been terrified and invited a friend around almost every time I’m home alone, so I doubt moving out completely on my own is going to be easy, especially if it was to a boat, on a canal, in the dark, alone. God I get scared just thinking about it. Another reason is that 'dry docking' (more commonly known as parking for the long boat) is about £50 a night, and I can't afford that, as well as the boat. I think I’ll stick with halls, for now at least.
