It's a very good film, it's a god story, and very very twisted.
Basically what happens is, there is a schizophrenic serial killer who puts girls in tanks that slowly fill with water over 40 hours, then they die, then he rapes them while he suspends himself over there bodies. They catch him, but he won't tell them where his latest victim is sat in a tank somewhere. So, Jenifer Lopez (a child psychologist) goes into Carl's (serial killer) mind using this new technology they have, and inside his mind is a very sick place. There is the inner child Carl, the evil Carl, the innocent Carl, the confused Carl, all of whom she encounters while she's wondering about his mind to find out where she is. They do find out where she is, but only after the cop who's using them to find the girl hi jacks the controls and sends himself in there too, he ends up getting his intestines turned around a spit roast stick. The key to staying sane is to remember it's not real, except Jennifer Lopez's character kind of forgets this so she can help inner child Carl, who isn't real, it all gets a bit confusing, but it's good, very good.
Anyway.... I think you should watch it. It is sickening, but it's been compared to great films like 'Se7en' and 'Silence of the lambs', Both of which are genius, even though i can't watch the later anymore, stupid nightmares.
Yeah, I only mention it now because it was on channel 4 at weekend and i remembered i should blog about what a fantastic filum it was.
Goodnight x

that is a weird film. I missed the start of it when I saw it, so I was just left to figure out why a horse was getting sliced in bits
