Kick Ass Weekend Part 1: Alton Towers

I got up at something stupid, like quater to seven, maybe seven, maybe five past. Either way i was picked up at seven fifteen on the dot. Then we met Simon and Jess at asda and had a reallly good journey to Alton Towers, No traffic or anything.

Then we got there, did the flume twice and stayed relitively dry, the sun was shining, we were all happy and dried. It was great. Then i went in the front and got rather wet, but not as wet as i did later on. It was all groovy. Then we moved up to the river rapids, i got drenched and cut my elbow, but quickly dried in the sun. I blame Jess and Simon for sitting together, i would have stayed dry othewise *evil glare* teehee.

Then we wanted to dry, and so walked to air, what with the sky rides being down *another evil glare* and got dry. It was excellent, but i was scared at first, but it was nice and smooth. It has one god awful high lift hill though. I loved it. Plus some guy complained that he's lost his contact lense, which made me laugh for a while.

Oh no wait, before that we went on Duel, and i came 3rd out of the four of us, Simon won.

Then i think we went on rita, Yeah we did. One word, Fast! Katie went on the swings because Rita didn't really take her fancy, so Me, Simon and Jess went on it, and this random guy sat next to me and told me this ride was like hell, cheers. It was good, but i cannot remember most of it because it was over rather fast. I got a text message from the lovely Nick and then we went to find Katie.

Then we went on the swings :D always good.

We also did air a few more times. The rapids again. And the bloody log flume twice more, once with Katie at the front, and once with Jess. If i thought i was soaked before, it was not a patch on what i was then. I got fuly soaked, like Katie. Even after a 2 hour car journey and a 20 minute walk around asda i was still soaked by the time i got to Nick's, ask him :D There was one hilarious ride photo from it though; when Jess was at the front Simon was sat behind her, then me, then Katie. I had my hood up (my coat's black) and my head down, So on the ride photo you cannot tell i am there, so it looks like Katie is in the back on her own.

I also went on Nemesis. Simon asked me if i wanted to get off just as we were setting off. I was terrified, but i loved it. We stood next to it for a while and i just said 'Ok Simon, get me on it before i change my mind' So we did. It was good, Jess and Katie laughed a lot at the ride photos.

What else did we do? Oh yeah, we ate Mc Donalds, I got a coffee when Jess, Simon and Katie went on air for the 4th time i think, and we stood at the bottom of the oblivion. And Simon did not manage to get Jess on the 'big swing' (aka ripsaw).
